D.A.R.E. is designed to strengthen the influence of the Drug Abuse Resistence Education program in Shasta County. The main purposes of the D.A.R.E program are to prevent drug abuse, gang involvement and violence among youth and to build a positive relationship between the police and the youth of our community. If you are in 7th or 8th grade and would like to participate in this year's D.A.R.E. camp contact the Youth Violence Prevention Council at 530-244-7194.
